Event Details

With the happy arrival of Spring, you are invited to join the working bee this Sunday 18 September from 8.00 am to help care for Sherwood Arboretum.

You are very welcome to catch up with Jeda and the team at the Joseph Street (northern entry) garden shed for just two hours of light work in the Arboretum.  It’s a rewarding way of making a difference to this wonderful home for Australian native trees and fabulous wildlife.  You are also invited to stay for morning tea at 10.30 am.

You might be inspired to help after reading this. Thanks to a global ‘Helping with Hands’ project by a Dutch-based agricultural seed company, a team of company volunteers has just helped us tidy up the Arboretum’s riverside banks. Sandra, Robert and Ashley were part of the Heritage Seeds team from Richlands which worked for two full days with FOSA last month and again this month to achieve this great result. We also thank Roger and Scott for their tremendous support too.
