ABOUT APPROVED ARBORISTS

Locate An Approved Arborist

The QAA Register of Approved Contractors and Consultants is proudly supported by our Industry Support Partner Fitzpatrick & Co Insurance and Vermeer Australia.

The production of this register is in direct response to increasing demand from the public, and from local and state government for assistance in locating qualified arborists. Anyone can advertise as an arborist, or buy a chainsaw, and it is very difficult for a layperson to assess the claims of a contractor that they do not know.

To be included in this register each company or consultant must comply with the QAA’s Criteria List. It should be noted, however, that the QAA has not assessed the quality of work carried out by those included, and makes no claims on their behalf, other than that they have met the following criteria.

All approved contractors are listed under the business/company name.

All approved consultants are listed under their individual consultant name on the register. A business/company can purchase the corporate rate if they have multiple consultants working for them.
