Join us for a comprehensive workshop designed to enlighten arborists, (contractors, consultants, managers, business owners, and students) about the crucial role of fungi in tree health and forest ecosystems.

Possessing a basic understanding of the evolutionary relationship between trees, fungi and other micro-organisms is crucial for arborists who are assessing, maintaining and working with trees. It’s important for today’s arborists to possess basic fungi identification skills and possess a basic understanding of the importance of the relationships and interactions that exist between trees and fungi, their evolution, forms and functions, morphology, ecology, classifications and reproductive processes.

Attendees should leave with a better understanding of how fungi can be a benefit or detriment to trees and how to identify a range of commonly observed fungi and interpret the likely impact on its host.
