This is to advise you of the upcoming Annual General Meeting of the members of the Queensland Arboricultural Association Inc (QAA). The details of this meeting are as follows:

Date:            Saturday 11 November 2023

Time:           9.00am with registration from 8.30am

Location:    QAA Head Office, 26-40 Delancey Street, Cleveland, QLD 4163

2. Confirmation of Minutes – AGM 2022
3. President’s Address
4. Presentation of Financial Report/Auditor’s Report
5. Adoption of Financial Report/Auditor’s Report (by ordinary resolution)
6. Appointment of the Auditor (by ordinary resolution)
7. Membership
8. Events and Sponsorship
9. Education Highlights
10. Marketing Highlights
11. Stepping Down and Election of Executive Committee
12. General Business/Q & A – Open Floor
13. Final President Address

At the meeting, members will have the opportunity to:

• find out about the QAA’s operations and finances
• speak about any items on the agenda
• vote on any resolutions proposed.

At the meeting, members will be asked to vote to:

• accept the minutes of the last annual general meeting
• accept the annual report
• accept the auditor’s report
• accept the annual financial statements
• appoint and pay an auditor
• elect Executive Committee
