Registered Consultant: Matthew Duncan

Matt has been active in the arboricultural industry since 1994 and founded Consult Arborist in 2011 on the Sunshine Coast. He updated his UK qualifications to an AQF Level 5 in 2010 and currently holds a Diploma in Arboriculture (AHC50510) and his ISA TRAQ certification is valid until 2030.

Consult Arborist offers a broad range of consulting services, from the preparation of comprehensive health and safety assessment reports for state and local government, commercial and sporting entities, educational institutions, and expansive residential communities, to providing Project Arborist consultation for development projects. We collaborate closely with developers and engineers, serving as a liaison between the trees, local authorities, and the project itself, to promote a positive outcome for all stakeholders. 

As a company, our goal is to offer a service to the wider SEQ area that seeks to support the preservation and introduction of the right tree in the right place and sustain today’s trees for tomorrow, where our comprehensive and easy to follow reports offer practical tree management solutions.

Areas of travel:  North Brisbane to Bundaberg. Daily focus is on the Moreton Bay to Noosa area but will travel for specialist projects.
