Date: Saturday the 27th and Sunday the 28th of May 2017

Venue: Noosa North Shore Retreat (camping and accommodation available, book directly through the Noosa North Shore website or call 07 5447 1225)

Jamboree time: 9.00 am – 3.00 pm Saturday

Cost: $25 per head for Jamboree participants only (this is to help cover Insurance and administrative costs for the day)
**All food and drink purchases will be the responsibility of attendees.
**Don’t forget the Ferry to get over to the island is $7.00 one way for a standard car 2WD & 4WD, for all other prices see website.

  • Spend some time on the beach or in the surf.

Event Schedule:

Saturday:

9.00am – 3.00pm:   Tree Climbing and Rigging Displays, mock work climb set up

6.00pm – late:          Dinner at the Great Sandy Bar and Restaurant, Noosa North Shore (please click here for menu & prices)

Sunday:

6.00am – 12.00pm:   Beach trip surfing and fishing

12.00pm – 3.00pm:   Final pack up and head home

Bring the family, the outdoor playground located just of the Great Sandy Bar and Restaurant is great with a Giant inflatable jumping pillow, the kids will love it.

Other great options for families include great walking trails through the National Park, which is adjacent to the retreat. Bring the kids bikes along as the venue is safe for them to ride around. Bring your fishing gear as you can also fish at the lake.

The rock climbing wall in the hotel is available for the kids between 12 pm and 2 pm on both the Saturday and Sunday. Noosa North Shore have kindly advised that our member’s children can climb for free but parents would need to advise the QAA prior to the event so that tickets can be organised for those who wish to climb.
