MIS300 Safe Tree Work includes all of the core safe work practices and risk management strategies for arboriculture and utility tree work.

Topics include:

• Preparing for work
• Safety responsibilities at work
• Working in remote areas
• Risk management
• Setting up a site 
• Selecting and using PPE 
• Completing a JSA or HAC
• Basic worksite communications
• Fatigue and stress
• Worksite management
• Completion of works

Because of the way that the different standards reference each other, these topics in MIS300 will not be repeated in other standards. The document is intended to be a user-friendly introduction to working on arboricultural sites. It has been reviewed and ratified by subject matter experts and industry bodies and can be used in conjunction with company SWMS to offer a holistic approach to introducing and describing work practices.
