Soil Science for Urban Green Spaces

In this workshop, Soil Microbiologist Katia Plouznikoff will share her knowledge to increase tree survival rates in urban environments and promote better tree management with organic sustainable practices to help make our environment greener. 

The workshop will cover:

• Soil nutrition
• Soil tests including the process of testing soils and samples
• Collecting samples and how not to contaminate them
• Where you can get samples tested
• Soils assessment
